Ironic Twist Of Fate - Atlanta's "Bank Of America Tower" Is Foreclosed Upon

Bank of America Plaza to be auctioned today

The iconic tower that lights up the Atlanta skyline will be auctioned off on the steps of the "Fulton County Court House" - as a bank repossession.

While Bank Of America is not the owner of the tower, only a tenant - it represents a twist of fate.

Had I won the $54 million in the lottery, just as the lady from College Park GA did - I would use my proceeds to purchase this building.  I wonder if they would take $54 million in hard currency instead of the $363 million original loan value?
