Sales of Kinkade artwork surge after painter dies
One man that I had always had respect for is Thomas Kinkade, the famous painter.
Once he got a loyal following for his artwork he could generate money by pulling out his paint brushes and use a blank canvas like the US Mint uses a blank sheet of paper that will later become a dollar bill.
I was actually surprised to read that his company had recent financial difficulties. Prior to the recession a Thomas Kinkade painting was an appreciating asset.
I hope to one day develop a system by which my fan base throws money at me because they know that they will make a return on investment.
I hope to live longer than age 54 though.
